If you’ve experienced a ringing in the ears, and it’s persistant, then you may be suffering from the ear disorder known as “Tinnitus”
The word “tinnitus” originates from the Latin, and means “tinkling or ringing like a bell”.
Tinnitus is usually caused by a fault in the hearing system; it is a symptom, not a disease in itself. The primary symptom of the Tinnitus ear disorder is ear ringing. Though you may also experience insomnia, nausea, headaches, and also depression.
Worldwide research continues but the actual mechanisms, or processes of tinnitus are not yet fully understood. It is thought that tinnitus is caused by some neurological disorders, physical ear trauma, ear infections and irritations or excessive earwax.
